1. Doing Good is different than Being Good.

"Doing Good" means taking action, responding to changing needs, inventing a better future.

"Being Good" requires one to appear infallible. No one wants that pressure and no one wants to be in that position; it's too vulnerable.

So, instead of assuming responsibility for trying to be perfect, start by doing something for the good of your community. Not only will you feel good and find meaning in your work, but you will have the opportunity to learn and grow and change with the times.
