John Di Costanzo, Founding Principal

As president and principal of Duegood, John heads the creative side of the business. For over 25 years, John has provided strategically creative solutions to assist organizations in their marketing and communication initiatives. He has worked in all sectors of creative communications including corporate, B2B, financial, government, consumer packaged goods, promotions and advertising.

With a thorough knowledge of traditional and new media communications, John delivers successful fully-integrated solutions. John’s brand strategy experience, business acumen and professionalism brings a diversified vision to all projects.

John currently works with non-profits, NGOs, and government organizations that includes Toronto Community Housing Corporation, Housing Connections, City of Toronto Public Health and CATIE to name a few. Over the years, John has worked on projects for a variety of for profit organizations including Nestlé, Reebok, RBC Financial Group, ICI, Labatt, McDonalds and Canada Lands Corporation.

John has been acknowledged for his contribution to the organization of community sports for youth and currently serves on the Board for the Withrow Park Ball Hockey League. In addition to playing organized ball hockey, John crews and races on sailboats and when downtime permits, explores new media art.

Melanie Persaud, MSW
Communications Director

Melanie Persaud is a skilled project manager, versatile writer, crisis communicator, media strategist, event planner, videographer, and storyteller. As a former social worker, Melanie puts the target audience at the heart of every project. She has developed outreach strategies with specific communities, created media campaigns, and written annual reports, websites, key messages, newsletters, media releases, social media posts and speeches to name a few. Complicated concepts are made plain and jargon eliminated.

She has facilitated meetings with Directors, Managers, front line workers and many clients of all ages. Meetings are engaging, energizing and designed to help people own the subject content. Melanie has worked with a variety of not for profit organizations including: Children’s Aid Society of Toronto, Yonge St. Mission, Adoption Council of Ontario, Aisling Discoveries Child and Family Centre.
